AI use & fairness disclosure

Robrics is committed to transparency about how automated systems are used in our hiring process. This page explains what our AI does, what data it processes, and the results of our bias-audit reviews.

What AI is used for

  • AI interview questions & scoring (AI mode). In AI-led interview rounds, the AI generates tailored questions based on the job description and the candidate's resume, then evaluates the recorded responses and produces a structured fit score - covering technical knowledge, communication clarity, and role-specific competencies. No human interviewer is involved in these rounds.
  • Transcript analysis (Human / live video mode). In live video rounds, the interview is conducted by a human recruiter inside Robrics. The AI transcribes the conversation and produces a supporting analysis - strengths, concerns, and dimension-level observations - to help the recruiter complete their own manual scorecard. The AI analysis never auto-fills or replaces the recruiter's score.
  • Hands-on exercises (Hands-on mode). In hands-on rounds, the recruiter points candidates to an external coding or assessment platform they already use. No AI is involved in the interview itself; the recruiter evaluates the submission using a manual scorecard, the same way they would in Human mode.
  • Human oversight. A human recruiter reviews all results and makes the final hiring decision. In AI mode the score is advisory; in Human and Hands-on modes the recruiter's own scorecard is the decision. Candidates may request a human-only review process at any time.

What data the AI uses

  • Resume text. The content of a candidate's resume is processed to generate relevant interview questions in AI mode. Personal contact information (emails, phone numbers) is automatically redacted before the AI sees it.
  • Interview responses (AI mode). In AI-led rounds, the AI processes the candidate's recorded or typed answers to generate a structured fit score.
  • Interview transcripts (Human / live video mode). In live video rounds, the conversation is transcribed and analysed to support the recruiter's manual review. The transcript analysis is advisory only and never becomes the candidate's score.
  • Job description & requirements. The role's job description, required skills, and seniority level are used to tailor questions and evaluation criteria in AI mode.

Video and audio recordings from AI and Human rounds are used solely for the hiring team's review. In AI mode, candidates may choose to complete their interview with typed answers instead of recorded responses. Hands-on rounds do not involve any recording.

Bias-audit results

Audit pending

An independent bias audit has not yet been performed. Results will be published here once a formal audit is completed. Candidates will be able to review selection rates and impact ratios by demographic group at that time.
